More than likely the local library would provide free computing classes. That would be the best place to start.

Most public libraries will have free computer usage and alot of them are starting to utilise other digital devices such as ipads and tablets. I would advise the customer of this and also keep them up to date with any training opportunities that become available.

Public Libraries offer free training and there are many free online causes which is a great place to start. We are in a digital world and to stay connected with family and business is becoming more relevant. Visiting the library can also offer free use of a computers.

I agree. Public Libraries offer free classes, free use of technology during the classes, free access to public PCs and free wi-fi & charging points if/when the customer gets their own device.
With everything online these days (MyGov, passports etc.)...you can't afford not to.

If they come to the library's tech classes there will be a device they can use as well. Then later on down the track, if they want, when they are more confident and have enough funds, they can look at purchasing their own device.
